Summary of the Will of Giles Ogburn alias Taylor of Leckhampstead Thicket in parish of Chieveley Berks, Maltster.

Provisions:
To my daughter Joane Gray 50 pounds 7 years after my death
To my son John Ogburne alias Taylor 40 pounds at age of 25 years, To my son Simon Ogburne alias Taylor 40 score pounds to be paid at age of 25 years and the Malthouse in Leckhampstead Thicket which I bought from John Avonor?

All the rest of my goods and chattels to my loving wife Evone and to my eldest son? Giles Ogburne alias Taylor equally between them. Which son together with my wife I make joint executors of this my last will and testament on condition that they shall pay my mother 20 shillings yearly and every year from the day of my death for the term of her natural life , and pay all my debts and funeral expenses.
Item if my daughter Joane Gray die before her legacie becomes payable that her legacy of £50 shall be for her children which are living, to be equally divided between them. If any die before the legacy becomes due then it shall be divided among the rest. And if any other children die before their bequest mecomes due it shall be equally divided among the rest.

And I request my two kinsmen John Dibley of Weyford and Josiah Goddard to be trustees of my will dated 16th April 1714
