Will of Samuel Ogborne

of Burlington, New Jersey 1694

I Samuel Ogborne of Burlington in the province of West New Jersey being sick and weake of body but by ye mercy of god of good and perfect memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manor and form following:

Imprimis: my will and mind is that all just debt by me due and owing be well and truly paid by my executrix hereafter named.

Item: I give and bequeath unto each and every of my children the sum of five pounds to be payed to them at the discretion of my executrix hereafter named if so much shall remain after they are brought up.

Item: I do nominate and appoint my dearly beloved wife Jane Ogborne to be sole executrix of this my last will and testament giving unto her power to sell & dispose of all or any of my estate both real and personal as she shall see occasion for the maintenance of her self and my said children.

Item: Lastly I do appoint my brother-in-law Peter Harvey to be my trustee deferring him to be assistant to my said executrix in the execution of this my will in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this seventh day of November Anno Dom one thousand six hundred ninety & four. 1694
